I miss Mohbad so much, no woman deserves to experience this pain – Wife

Omowunmi Aloba has lamented about missing her deceased husband, popular rapper Ilerioluwa Aloba, better known as Mohbad, ahead of their son’s birthday.

The musician’s widow expressed pain-filled emotion as she looked forward to her child Liam’s first birthday which is coming up in a few weeks.

Recall that the country was thrown into mourning when news broke of the rapper passing away on September 12, 2023 at the age of 27.

There have been calls for her to conduct DNA test on the boy following suspicions of paternity fraud, as it is said that she was having an affair with someone close to Mohbad while still alive

In a post on her social media page, Wunmi stated that no woman should be made to go through what she is experiencing and she does not want even her enemy to feel the same pain.

She also expressed sadness that their son will turn a year old without his father. Wunmi wrote; “No female deserves to go through this, haa, I don’t wish this pain on my enemy. Liam will clock in in a few weeks without dada, I miss my baby so much.”

CorrectnNG reported earlier that Omuwunmi expressed readiness to react to the plethora of allegations leveled against her pertaining to paternity fraud following the death of her husband.

She said that she will reserve her comments for now until the coroner’s inquest which is coming up on the 7th of November 2023. Mohbad’s family, friends and the colleagues also accused her of having a hand in the singer’s death.

Omowunmi who has a child with the singer, named Liam, said she will also address calls for her to conduct DNA test on their son.

This was contained in a message she sent to actress Iyabo Ojo, who has been actively following up the case to ensure that justice is served.

She shared a screenshot of the message from Omowunmi and in it, Omowunmi stated that all she wants is for justice to prevail for her husband, Mohbad.

Iyabo captioned; “To everyone who wants to hear from Mohbad’s wife, this is her response.. Ikeja General Hospital, please, we hope that by the 7th of November 2023, the next date for the coroner inquest, the full autopsy results will be out.

“We’re not giving up on this justice for Mohbad, no matter the dragging, noise makers or distractions, Furthermore, she declared that doing a DNA test on her son is a must.”

The message from Wunmi read; “Hello ma, I’ve decided not to speak on anything until 7th of November which is the coroner inquest because i do not want any side distraction.

All I want is Justice for my husband which I believe the Nigeria government are working on, after everything I’ll either grant an interview or tell my own story before the whole world, and also DNA is definitely a most!!!”
