In response, Big Wiz shaded both of them by referring to the record label boss as an influencer and noted that he’s “never chatting to anyone signed to an influencer”.

According to Nasboi, as someone who used to respect Don Jazzy, Wizkid was wrong for talking about the Mavin Records boss in that manner.

Nasboi said, “Wizkid was wrong for talking to Don Jazzy that way. Before now, Wizkid used to respect Don Jazzy… You remember Wizkid vs Linda Ikeji?”

Tolanibaj interjected: “He [Wizkid] is a troll. We know that.”

Meanwhile, in related news…

Debo Adedayo, the skit-maker better known as Mr Macaroni lambasted top singer, Wizkid over his subliminal comment directed at music producer, Don Jazzy.

Mr Macaroni highlighted some of Don Baba J’s accomplishments and said he is Influential across music, contents, films, and brands, the context in which Wizkid called him “an influencer” was disrespectful to.

The content creator noted that Jazzy is an “absolute legend” who has done and is still doing a lot for the Nigerian music industry and has shown support to many entertainers in the country regardless of their status.

Macaroni wrote: “Donjazzy is perhaps the biggest Entertainment Influencer in Africa. And the beautiful thing is that his influence cuts across. From music, to contents, films, brands etc.

“However, we would all be hypocrites to say that the context in which he was called an influencer isn’t disrespectful to everything he has done and is still doing for the Nigerian Music Industry.

“An absolute legend. He promotes Music Artistes even outside his record label. Gives free advice and visibility to up and coming artists, shows love to everyone irrespective of their status. I am also a beneficiary of his phenomenal influence! Don Baba J!!!! Your Influence Choke!!!”
