Talented artiste, David Adeleke, known professionally as Davido, has made an interesting claim about the cost of his wedding day accessory.
In a video from the event circulating online, the DMW boss claimed that the wristwatch he wore with his first outfit for the occasion cost $800,000 (approximately N1.2 billion).
“Ain’t no fake watch, mehn. $800,000, man,” Davido said while flashing his watch on the camera.
This is coming after the newly married music star bragged about the cost of his wife, Chioma Rowland-Adeleke’s engagement ring.
The 31-year-old Afrobeats star disclosed in a trending video that the ring is so expensive, it can purchase two or three Rolls Royce cars.
Ahead of Davido and Chioma’s traditionally which took place today, 25th of June in Lagos state, the couple stepped out on a romantic dinner date.
While they were inside a car preparing to zoom off, celebrity barman, Cubana Chief Priest hyped up the couple and asked to see the ring.
As Chioma was flaunting it in a trending video, Davido quickly pointed out that the value of ring is equivalent to about two or three Rolls Royce.
Big Brother Naija star and event host, Dee One doubted Davido’s claim and went on to challenge him to present a receipt to support his claim.
