Controversial music star, Gabriel Oche Amanyi, known by his stage name, Terry G, has maintained his position that superstar singer, Burna Boy is currently the biggest Nigerian artiste.
He made the assertion in a post on his official Twitter handle, adding that Ayodeji Balogun aka Wizkid is the greatest Nigerian artiste of all-time.
The ‘Akpako Master’ who was seemingly picking sides in the ongoing beef between Wizkid and Davido, insisted that Machala has built a legendary status for himself.
Terry G wrote; “Muthaf**k the Big 3, nxgga it’s just Big Wiz… n*gga bum!!! Wiz is him. Not posting Wiz to chase clout, just reminiscing all he’s done for the culture!!! I’m contented with what I have worked for lol… but he’s him, I repeat!!!
“Concerning what I said on Honest Bunch Podcast that was posted few weeks ago, my take still stands. Yeah currently, Burna is the biggest, but when it comes to all timer, I’ll give it to Wiz… y’all can’t deny the works and the legendary status he built for himself… WIZ is him!”
Meanwhile, CorrectNG reported earlier that ghetto singer, Terry G declared that Afrobeats and dancehall star, Burna Boy is a bigger artiste than his counterparts, Wizkid and Davido.
He made the assertive statement during a recent chat on The Honest Bunch podcast, where he said Davido is the only “king” in Africa.
Terry G claimed that Africans can’t relate with Wizkid’s songs because of his style of music, while Burna Boy on the other hand, is huge both in Africa and internationally.
The ‘Run Mad’ crooner said he finds the comparison of Davido and Wizkid to be blinding and petty because it is obvious how different they are from one another.
In response to a question about Burna Boy’s classification, he, however stated that the ‘African Giant’ is superior to both OBO and Machala.
Terry G said; “The Wizkid vs Davido debate, to me is l@me. Davido is the king of Africa. He have African audience. He sing unapologetic African music.
“But Wizkid’s mindset is targeted at crossover. His music no dey too relate to us [Africans]. Burna Boy na im get Africa and International. His is their king. Burna pass two of them.”
